Let's Not Go back to Normal is a duo exhibition of artists Jessie Tam and Tianyi Zheng at de bierumerschool. During the residency, they revisited and revealed the presence of everyday labour, issue of diaspora, and identity as well as and body politics in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak. The exhibition is an exercise ground for imagination and questions on how human conditions are reflected under the shadow cast by the general political environment and systems of control through the perception of time.
Surrounded by open fields and wild wind, de bierumerschool is an art space located in a village near the border of Germany and the Ems river. Originally operating as a primary school, it is now run by artists Jan Pieter van den Bos and Manja Kindt, where exhibitions and residency program flourishes.
譚綽琳和鄭天依在荷蘭藝術空間de Bierumerschool駐場創作的聯展「Let's Not Go Back to Normal 我們返唔到轉頭」，是兩人將疫情期間的生活和工作進行拆解和重構，思考對於勞動日常、離散身份及身體政治等議題的一系列作品。
de bierumerschool 位於德國和荷蘭的邊境埃姆斯河附近的一個小村莊，周圍是空曠的田野和狂勁的風，駐場空間原是一間小學，現在由藝術家Jan Pieter van den Bos和 Manja Kindt營運，舉辦展覽和駐留計畫。
